BarBacks
| A chronically sore back during long
rides prompted me to add a set of barbacks - extensions to the mounting
points on the handlebars, that move the bars back and up about an inch.
After beadblasting the barbacks , I found that I needed to cut away a section of the fascia bracket to get it to fit over the barbacks. I also had to countersink two of the mounting holes, in order to use the exiting bolts. This product could certainly be better designed, but it does alleviate some pain in my lower back.
