Full Day Tour of Hangzhou, with Lunch
As the capital city of Zhegiang Province, and one of China's six major ancient capitals, Hangzhou is known worldwide for its beautiful scenery. It became the capital of the Wuyue Kingdom as early as 10th century B.C, and was described by Marco Polo as "the most beautiful and magnificient city on earth". All of Hangzhou's beautiful sights are centered on and around the West Lake, where art and nature contrast with, yet complement each other. Sights to be seen and to be remembered are the undulating hills and meandering waters, long embankments, quiet woods and secluded springs as well as historical sites with their relics. |
